DCS now has a call centre (Tshegetso call centre) situated at the national Head Office…the centre started operating on the 2nd of September 2019 during normal office hours (07:15 – 15:45), its main objective is to provide effective, efficient, innovative and professional service(SERVICE DELIVERY). We are now in 2020, technology is an extreme necessity when it comes to communication and the majority of the people are now utilizing it. To adequately service the needs of our service recipients The Department of Correctional Service has now made it easy for everyone across the world to gain access to it so that the services can be efficiently and effectively administered. The following methods can be used for any enquiry or complaint through the internet and telephonically.

People can even check for our contacts on dcs.gov.za then select contact us on the top right of the page. This Service Delivery Charter outlines the Department of Correctional Services’ commitment to customer service. The department will continue to implement and enhance its planning for a better service delivery. The call centre can provide services for members of the public, inmates and officials.
