MINISTER LAMOLA TO TAKE HANDOVER REFURBISHED SCHOOL FURNITURE TO E MACEMBE PRIMARY SCHOOL IN CRADOCK

 The Minister of Justice and Correctional Services, Ronald Lamola will on Friday 4 March 2022, handover refurbished desks and chairs to the E Macembe Primary School in Cradock, Eastern Cape.

The 145 desks and 150 chairs refurbished through offender labour from St Albans Management Area, will benefit one hundred EC Macembe learners who will receive 50 desks and 100 chairs. One hundred and ninety pupils from Dunbrody and Moreson Primary Schools will gain from 95 desks and 50 chairs to be shared between them.

Minister Lamola seeks to restore the dignity of the learners through creation of a conducive educational environment while enhancing enthusiasm for their studies. To ensure that this noble cause finds resonance, St Albans Management Area cleaned and painted E Macembe Primary school during holidays.

In line with Minister Lamola’s vision of ‘Adopt a school campaign’, the Public Private Partnership between St Albans Management Area and AVBOB has culminated in providing 29 learners with school tracksuits for Rosemead Primary School based in Middleburg, Chris Hani Municipality.
