He visited the Elderly Unit, Kitchen, Hospital, Mother and Baby Unit, Administration block, Basement, and Salon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also conducted a non-contact visit to test the functionality of the public address (PA) system used for offender communication, stressing that clear communication channels are critical for safety and order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Accompanied by members of the management area executive, the Minister urged officials to address any identified gaps immediately to uphold dignity and security for all offenders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_8118-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11122\" srcset=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_8118-1024x683.jpg 1024w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_8118-300x200.jpg 300w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_8118-768x512.jpg 768w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_8118-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_8118-2048x1365.jpg 2048w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_8118-400x267.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Minister proceeded to the Medium A kitchen to assess food preparation processes, hygiene standards, and overall operations. Officials shared the daily challenges faced at the remand detention facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Heads of centres were given the opportunity to raise operational concerns.
